Memories with the Littles - Part 1

We did a “first” tonight! We took our grand girls downtown to experience Christmas lights and activities the city offers this time of year. I think it’s safe to say everyone had a blast…then we headed home to enjoy pizza for dinner followed by the unwrapping of their comfy, matching, Christmas pajamas. It was a nice, damp and cold evening here and the memories we made were priceless!

Time flies! I don’t want to be so busy doing life that I forget to make special moments with my little people. When it comes down to it, memories are what we’re left with. I want to have a plethora of them to reflect on!

So, I just wanted to mark this moment. The kids have grown so much in the last three years! makes me scratch my head and wonder how it happens right under my nose. This pic popped up in my Facebook memories today and I just couldn’t believe it.

So, we’ll continue living and making the most of all the moments we have. We only get to do this once; I want to do it right. I didn’t say perfect either! We’re giving it our best shot though.
