Memories with the Littles - Part 2

We’ve been super busy! It’s been great - AND I’m exhausted.
We had our first trip with the grand princesses to downtown Macon for a walk through the streets lined with Christmas lights and music. Then, they spent the night and we did more stuff on Saturday — including snapping this picture of all three GA grands in their Christmas jammies.
We worked more on our newly constructed manger scene and we were anxiously awaiting Baby Jesus to be delivered by Amazon. That’s kind of comical, and thought provoking at the same time. We also made fudge and jello! They love helping Noni out in the kitchen.
This afternoon, we had family time and were happy to receive our special package which was left on the front porch. We quickly unboxed and set up the manger scene. The girls were so into it and excited. Made my heart happy! Making memories.

Tonight, we had our first fire of the season and the girls talked Pops into roasting marshmallows in it. It was a nice evening, just enjoying each other’s company and trying to keep up with Littles who have much more energy than I do.

Tomorrow’s Monday and I’m looking forward to sleeping in a bit, then hitting the road to get errands run and getting our spare room ready for Pappy to come on Tuesday. Christmas is busy this year, but I’m doing my best to keep up and slow down when necessary so I’m not too cranky. Mid-life stuff has crept up on me and some days are much harder than others. God is still the same faithful Companion as always though. I’m thankful for my family and friends, my home and church. The blessings of the Lord continue to pour out upon us I continue to hold onto His promises each day. The Lord is good, faithful, and His mercy endureth forever!
Have a great week ~
